Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET)

Vocational education and training (VET) equips students with critical abilities that improve their employability, foster personal growth, and promote active citizenship. VET increases business productivity, competitiveness, research, and innovation. As a vital part of the national education system, TVET is equally significant as general education, fostering both personal growth and workforce development.

It serves as a key pathway to:

  • Cultivating diverse, high-quality talents.

  • Transmitting technical expertise across industries.

  • Promoting employment, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

TVET is structured into two primary components:

  • Vocational School Education: Degree-oriented programs at both secondary and higher levels.

  • Vocational Training: Non-degree programs such as pre-employment, on-the-job, and re-employment training.

With its emphasis on practical skills and applied learning, TVET prepares individuals to meet the demands of a rapidly changing global economy while supporting sustainable development.

How GEC Shapes TVET Globally?

GEC seeks to create a vast network of collaborators with international government agencies, vocational education institutions, and industry heavyweights across the globe to foster greater understanding and create long-lasting collaborations.

At GEC, we are dedicated to empowering the future workforce by:

  • Building a global network of collaborators, including government agencies, vocational institutions, and industry leaders.

  • Driving initiatives that promote resource sharing, joint standards development, and innovative training solutions.

  • Supporting international partnerships through cooperative education programs, professional accreditations, and academic exchanges.

  • Enhancing teacher competence and leadership through world-class training programs in collaboration with institutions such as Columbia University, Oxford University, and Cambridge University.
